Summary
Amends the:
Aged Care Act 1997
and
Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018
to: implement a Serious Incident Response Scheme for residential aged care and flexible care delivered in a residential aged care setting; and expand the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner's powers to administer and enforce the requirements of the scheme and the responsibilities of approved providers and related offences; and
Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018
to make amendments contingent on the commencement of the
Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2020
